Our Company

 Corbett Exterminating, Inc. was founded by its president, Spencer J. Corbett, in 1976 and incorporated in September 1983 in New Jersey. 

The company, a minority-owned business with offices in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Mississippi and Virginia/Washington, D.C., provides comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems to clients wishing to eliminate and continually control pest infestations.  The company's unique IPM Systems are comprehensive pest control program that provide solutions to every possible infestation scenario, and maintains control through aggressive preventive maintenance programs.  This process, in harmony with good communication between Corbett Exterminating and management, guarantees satisfaction and results. 

Corbett Exterminating currently services tens of thousands of residential units including subsidized, market rate, luxury rental, hotel, and cooperative housing.  The Company continues to increase business in both commercial and governmental sectors. 

Corbett Exterminating also maintains large warehouse facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia where it maintains fleets of late model, full service vehicles, extensive pest management supplies, and other large equipment needed for the conduct of its business. These facilities also incorporate locker and storage areas for the company's technicians and serve as Field Supervisor offices.
Our Management Team

Corbett Exterminating is structured into three main areas: marketing/sales, administration, and operations. The company's organizational structure is predicated on corporate objectives, while maintaining sensitivity to the most efficient use of available resources. Management's approach is developed along operational and special lines. All individuals who are in-charge of an operational function are counted on to provide strategic advice and counsel on key corporate and policy issues. Other advice and counsel is provided by outside expertise hired or retained. These include corporate attorneys, entomologists and an outside Certified Public Accounting firm.

Corbett Exterminating has a complete staff of dedicated professionals guided by the following key employees:

President:

Spencer J. Corbett is the founder, President and CEO of Corbett Exterminating. He is an innovative professional with nearly 35 years of pest control experience. Mr. Corbett has developed several Integrated Pest Management strategies and practices that are tailored to serving the multi-family housing market. He has maintained Corbett Exterminating as a pioneer company and leader in the industry and is a nationally recognized speaker and pest control consultant. With over 35 years hands-on experience, Mr. Corbett is ultimately responsible for the overall direction and destiny of the company.

Director of Operations:

Sonja Smith-Tynes directs all administrative and financial functions company-wide and has held this position for 23 years. Ms. Smith-Tynes is responsible for day-to-day operations for all company offices. Her duties include daily client and vendor interface relative to contractual administrative matters, development of office and general company procedures. Oversee all financial data including daily billing, cash receipts, financial statement preparation and major purchases.
 
Vice President:

Charles R. Cerbini has been Vice President for 23 years. Mr. Cerbini performs sales and marketing functions for the company and is responsible for training and continuing education for Corbett employees. Duties include multi-level sales activities, marketing strategy, advertising design and implementation, and presentation of proposals and bids. He holds professional pest control certifications in several states and is a frequent guest speaker at multi-family housing conferences. Mr. Cerbini is a graduate of Manhattan College.

Senior Field Supervisor:

Field Operations are led by Mr. Carlos Castillo, Northern Division Field Supervisor. Mr. Castillo is responsible for day-to-day technical operations. He is in constant contact with the other field supervisors and keeps them apprised of daily activities as well as special situations as they arise. Mr. Castillo has been with the company for 19 years.

This tight and efficient organization structure allows the company to be very responsive to the needs of its clients and gives Mr. Corbett the opportunity to closely monitor all company activities and operations in a timely manner.
